High-end interior renders for Viva Porte: a home in Washington where light, wood and glass become the material of the design.
The challenge
Viva Porte designs doors, partitions and wall systems, and its catalogue shows them inside complete, lived-in homes. For the Washington home the idea was that light is not just functional but a design material: the renders had to show the products, Collage glass partitions, VWall wood cladding and V0 Alu swing doors, as part of the architecture rather than as objects on display.
The approach
The interiors were built around the products, with warm wood, glass and neutral plaster in a restrained palette. Low, raking light through windows, skylights and glass blocks draws patterns on walls and floors, so that each shot shows how the materials react to light: the grain of the wood, the reflections and transparency of the glass, the way a door sits flush with the wall.
The result
A series of interior images now used by Viva Porte to present the Washington home, where every product reads clearly inside a calm, high-end space.
